Taking a Big Break

Hey guys,

I've been thinking for a week about this and I'm going to let you all know too.
Please don't be scared - nothing serious so far and I'm not planning to retire and leave.

But gosh am I EXHAUSTED.

I've been diggin' my joy of life down for almost 6 years - no rest, just puter life, headaches and back pains.
Right now all I can think of is my loved guys, a good sauna, workouts, dumb watching TV and sleep.
My family have been missing me all these years.

So I'm taking a good break from designing, and hopefully will be back in summer.
Love you all and will be missing you!

    Enjoy your well-deserved rest, Irene. We will all be here when and if you decide to come back to designing. Life should be happy. Hope yours is!

    Time to rest is a necessity. You have been going non-stop for a long time. As Gulffire said, we will be here. Have a wonderful break...a lot of "me" time and a bunch of family time. Hugs, Jan

    A sabbatical! That's what you need. Anyone who pours herself into what she is doing should take one now and then to refresh, rejuvenate and find the fun in their work again. Cars don't run on fumes. Neither do we.
    You go, Girl! Bust loose! Pull the covers over your head and go back to sleep. You're worth the investment! Plus you deserve it.

    I can SO understand how you feel/were feeling. Hoe you're enjoying your rest and having a geat time! I just landed on your page "by accident" and have to say: Your work is AWESOME!
